Junk removal is priced on how much truck space your items take, not on hours or a list of hidden factors. You get a price range before anything is scheduled.
We price junk removal by volume
A few items cost less than a garage full of clutter because they take less space in the truck. Jobs start at $125.
Send photos and we’ll give you a price range. If the photos don’t tell the whole story, or you’d rather we see it in person, we’ll come out for a free in-person estimate instead. Either way you get a range, not a surprise.
From photos to a scheduled job
1. Send photos. The item list, the pile, and the path out.
2. Get a price range. From the photos, or from a free in-person estimate if that suits the job better.
3. Agree to the range. Nothing is scheduled until you’re good with it.
4. We schedule and clear. The final price lands within the range you agreed to, based on the volume we actually load.
What the load looks like
Not every service is priced by volume
Volume pricing is for junk removal, where disposal fees are part of what you’re paying for. The other services RZ offers work differently, and we talk the structure through with you rather than pushing one on you.

How the other services are priced
Hauling & light moving: Priced dynamically rather than by volume, on completion or hourly, whichever you’re more comfortable with. No minimum, because there are no disposal fees on these jobs.
Sorting help: An hourly rate, since the work is the time spent going through items rather than the size of the load.
Interior cleaning: Quoted per request, on its own or added onto a removal. It has to be requested; it isn’t part of a standard job.
The RZ Clean Finish
We don’t just haul the junk. We clean up the cleared work area before we leave. After removal, RZ picks up loose debris and sweeps, vacuums, or rakes the cleared area where appropriate.

Pricing questions
Is $125 the price for every job?
$125 is the starting price for smaller-volume junk-removal jobs. Larger loads cost more because they take more truck space.
Is a photo estimate a firm final price?
No. What you get is a price range. Once you agree to the range, we schedule the job, and the final price falls within that range based on the volume we actually load.
Do you come out in person?
Often, yes. If the photos don’t tell the whole story, or you’d simply rather we see it in person, we come out for a free in-person estimate and give you the range from there. Photo estimates work either way, so it’s your call.
Does RZ charge by the hour?
Junk removal is priced by volume, not by the hour. Other services differ: hauling and light moving is priced dynamically, either on completion or hourly, and sorting help is hourly.
How is hauling or light moving priced?
Dynamically. Depending on the job it may be priced on completion or hourly. We go through the options with you and use whichever structure you’re most comfortable with. There’s no minimum on these jobs, since they carry no disposal fees.
Why does junk removal have a starting price but hauling doesn’t?
Junk removal carries disposal fees, which are built into the $125 starting price. Hauling and light moving don’t involve disposal, so there’s no minimum.
How much is interior cleaning or sorting help?
Interior cleaning is quoted per request, since the work varies so much between spaces. Sorting help is charged at an hourly rate. Both need to be requested when you describe the job.
Are estimates free?
Yes. Photo estimates and in-person estimates are both free.
Are appliances or hot tubs priced separately?
RZ does not currently accept appliances or hot tubs.
